Online Print Order Forms*

*Forms require Adobe Acrobat Pro or Adobe Acrobat Reader

Departments: If you are paying using the budget transfer process, online ordering is not available. Please use PrintFX’s service desk.

Students, faculty & staff: Online Ordering is recommended for experienced users who are familiar with completing PrintFX’s paper order forms,  emailing compressed files, etc.

By using the buttons below, please download & complete the appropriate pdf form, then follow the directions for either on-campus or off-campus submission.  Important: Do not open it in "Preview" because the fields will not work correctly & we will not be able to read your selections! Also, once you fill out the form & save it on your computer, it can't be revised. Before uploading your print files, please familiarize yourself with our file prep guidelines.

On-campus submission:

Step 1: Using "Adobe Acrobat" or "Adobe Reader" (not "Preview"), download & complete the appropriate pdf order form from the choices above.  Please complete the fields (Page Range, # of copies, etc.) so the Subtotal, Total Pages & Total Price automatically calculate. If you omit paper size, paper type, quantity, etc.,  your job will be rejected. The fields will not work properly & we won't be able to read your selections if you completed it in "Preview".

Step 2:  When completed, email only your order form to us at pfxorder@fitnyc.edu. Submit your files by going to the next step. Please do not email your files!

Step 3: Submit your files by logging into PrintFX’s server (GFX100) using the directions below:

Accessing the GFX100 from a PC on-campus: From desktop, click on icon that reads “Connect to class share”. When it opens, type GFX100 & click ok. Click on the icon that reads “Class Drop T” & GFX100 will open. Create a folder with your first & last name and place your files inside it. If you previously created a folder on the GFX100 under the same name, add a number to your newly named folder (ex: Jane_Doe2). Drag this folder into the GFX100. Be certain that you don’t put it into someone else’s folder.

Accessing the GFX100 from a MAC on-campus: Click anywhere on the desktop. On top most bar, click “Go”. Click on “Connect to Server” and type: smb://fs-c108-02/gfx100 in the address field. Click “Connect” & the GFX100 window will appear. Create a folder on the desktop labeled with your name & place your files inside. If you previously created a folder on the GFX100 under the same name, add a number to your newly named folder (ex: Jane_Doe2). Drag this folder into the GFX100. Be certain that you don’t put it into someone else’s folder.

*Important: PrintFX must receive your order form and files simultaneously to expedite your job. If we receive the order form & can’t locate your files, your job will be placed on hold.

Off-campus submission: Submit via FIT's Webfiles.

1.     Using "Adobe Acrobat" or "Adobe Reader" (not "Preview"), download & complete the appropriate pdf order form from the choices above. 2.     On your computer, save both your order form(s) and file(s) into a folder, labeled with your first and last name.

3.     Zip up your folder.

4.     Log into Webfiles: https://webfiles.fitnyc.edu   https://webfiles.fitnyc.edu

5.     Upload your zipped file to Webfiles

6.     In Webfiles, select the zipped file you just uploaded.

7.     Click the "Share" icon in the menu on top (between the "Manage" and "Email" icons)

8.     On the "Choose Users" page box, type in pfxorder@fitnyc.edu 

9.     Click "Next".

     10. On the Verify Permissions page, for "Authenticated Users", select "Contributor" and click "Next".

     11. On the "Send Email" page, click the "Finish" button.

Need Assistance? If you are having problems with online ordering, please come to PrintFX and drop off your order. Online Ordering is recommended for experienced users who are familiar with completing PrintFX’s paper order forms,  emailing compressed files, etc. If you received a response from us indicating that there's a problem with your order,  please do not email us --  call us at 212 217.5470 or stop by PrintFX during regular business hours. New Job Turnaround Time!

  • Same Day turnaround time has been discontinued until further notice.
  • 24 hour turnaround time for all jobs. Jobs may be completed sooner than 24 hours but there is no guarantee. We will call you when your job is ready for pick-up.
  • Rush service (1-2 hr turnaround):  Please come to our service desk to notify PrintFX staff in person--we will then determine the probability at time of drop off.  Rush jobs not accepted after 3pm.  Fee for Rush service is double the price of the original cost. This service will not be available after April 19, 2013.
