DIG PINK!  Volleyball Supports Breast Cancer Awareness at Home Against Kingsborough on Thursday
The FIT volleyball team is planning to wear pink socks in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month during their home opener on Thursday, October 6th, when they take on Kingsborough at 7PM.  This is the third consecutive year the girls will be supporting the cause, and this year there will be special giveaways and contests for those that attend the game.

Currently at 6-1 on the season, the team will be playing host to Kingsborough at 7PM; the second time the two teams have played this season.  FIT's first match of the season was on the road at Kingsborough, and the Tigers won the match 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-21).

For the special "Dig Pink" contest, the team will sport pink socks throughout the match, which represents the importance of breast cancer awareness.  Special for the evening will be giveaways which include t-shirts and sweatshirts for those in attendance.   Also, the dorm floor that brings the most number of fans to cheer on the Tigers will be awarded a pizza party!

So, come out and support your Tigers at 7PM, and if you have something pink, wear it to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness!
