Creating an Inclusive Mindset at Abercrombie & Fitch: Broadening Perspectives, Making Global Connections

In a world without borders, developing and maintaining an inclusive mindset is critical in ensuring that businesses operate efficiently, source talent from diverse perspectives and create meaningful shopping experiences for all customers. The diversity initiative at Abercrombie & Fitch has been a transformational journey and allowed the organization to create a workforce that is engaged in sustaining an inclusive environment for its associates, customers and shareholders.

 

Mr. Corley joined Abercrombie & Fitch as their first-ever corporate officer in charge of diversity and inclusion. In his role, Mr. Corley reports directly to the Chairman and CEO.  Additionally, he has shared oversight for the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative and is a liaison to the Abercrombie & Fitch Board of Directors’ CSR committee. Under his leadership, the percentage of U.S. in-store associates have become more racially and ethnically diverse than the U.S. population.
