Michael Hyde

Michael HydeMichael Hyde is author of the story collection What Are You Afraid Of? which won the Katherine Anne Porter Prize in Short Fiction.  His stories have appeared in The Best American Mystery Stories, Alaska Quarterly Review, Ontario Review, and elsewhere, and he has received fellowship support from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference and the Fundación Valparaíso in Spain.  A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University’s MFA writing program, he completed his PhD, writing on literature and ethics, at New York University. http://www.michaelhyde.org/
