Internships are structured around current and ongoing department projects and include, but are certainly not limited to, the preparation of subject guides or finding aids, researching and planning exhibitions, archives processing and preservation, developing biographies and departmental or office histories, Web tools development, digitization projects, database management, and so on. We also welcome innovative proposals from potential interns. Please contact the department for an application and more in depth information.
The Department of Special Collections and FIT Archives has opportunities for internships for spring, summer, and fall terms for undergraduate students, graduate students, and developing professionals. Our internships encourage students and practitioners to explore careers and tasks related to archives, information management, curatorial, and fine and applied art history fields.
