Software Services and Information Access
Software Services and Information Access (SSIA) provides high-quality, cost-effective and innovative service, maintenance and support for the institutional databases and software applications and underlying computing infrastructure for the FIT community. SSIA delivers:
• Management of the MyFIT portal which is the Intranet gateway to all FIT online resources and services for students, faculty and staff.
• Leadership and management oversight of the Banner ERP/Student Information System, Hyperion Reporting system and Bi-Tech (IFAS – Integrated Financial and Administrative Solution), the college-wide budgeting and accounting system.
• Support for technology initiatives to provide end user constituents with business process improvements to create Web-based “on- demand” self-service capabilities.
• Project-level services to support implementation of software applications and systems either at the department level or within the FIT enterprise environment that automate business processes, decrease operational costs, improve end-user experience and provide definitive support to the strategic plan.
