SSIA Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide:
high-quality, cost-effective, innovative software services and data access tools to the FIT community.
We shall ensure:
a secure, stable environment in which all data are maintained with integrity and consistency across applications for both content providers and viewers.
We shall provide these services to:
students throughout their life-cycle with FIT - from the time they are a prospect, through the applications process, during their student life, and into alumni status;
administration and faculty - to assist them in improving their effectiveness to perform their functions of educating and supporting students, and communicating with industry, donors, and state agencies;
parents and visitors - by maintaining an easily navigable portal for anyone with a desire to become acquainted with FIT and the College’s unique role as an educational institution and a as resource for the fashion industry.
