Five Diversity Climate Assessment Survey Prize Winners Announced

The Diversity Council would like to thank everyone who participated in the Diversity Climate Assessment Survey Raffle this year. Congratulations to grand prize winner, Patrick Ching (student, Fashion Merchandising Management), who won a new iPad! Runners-up were Regan Christie (non-classroom faculty, Advisement Center); Krista Herczeg (student, Advertising and Marketing Communications); Elizabeth Pulos (student, Advertising and Marketing Communications); and Christie Souzzo (student, Fashion Merchandising Management). All runners-up received gift bags. Dr. Joyce F. Brown, President of FIT, awarded prizes at an informal ceremony in the newly renovated Lagary Board Room in the Marvin Feldman Center on Decemeber 18, 2012.

The FIT Diversity Climate Assessment Survey is an initiative of the FIT Diversity Council and Office of the President to obtain a broad-based understanding of student and employee perceptions of diversity and difference on our campus. Survey results will help the college develop strategies for fostering a climate that promotes fairness, civility and respect. Information on the results of the survey will be communicated later in the Spring 2013 semester.
