Monday 5, 5-6pm: Mexico @ NYC: The Muralists in New York
Lecture by invited guest speaker Rocío Aranda- Alvarado, Curator El Museo del Barrio, New York.

Wednesday 14, 5-6pm: Quimera on the storm, theater performance
The group, which performed two years ago with successful results, returns to FIT to share with our community an artistic piece, which delves in the problems of political, social and existential estrangement leading to inner and outer violence. Playwright and poet Rosebud Ben-Oni will present her play “Quimera on the storm."
The play will be directed by actor, writer, director and producer, Bob Teague, cofounder of Truant Arts and author of Four Square.

FIT Student Foreign Language Recitation Competition

This Fall 2015 the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures will sponsor the twenty-sixth FIT Student Foreign Language Recitation Competition.
All students taking first year language courses (111 / 112 / 122) are welcome to participate!

Tuesday 10, 1-2pm: Final Run-Offs of the Competition

Thursday 12, 12, 1-2pm: Awards Ceremony
