“The 64 campuses of SUNY are home to many talented artists whose work has flourished among our dedicated arts faculty and top-rated academic programs in the arts,” said SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher. “Student art is on display throughout New York State on our campuses, at System Administration in Albany, in the Governor’s office in Washington, DC, and now at the Global Center in New York City, making it possible for all New Yorkers to enjoy these outstanding works.”
The paintings were selected by a panel of SUNY professionals led by Jean Feinberg, assistant professor of Fine Arts, FIT, and Joe Scheer, professor of Print Media and co-director/founder of
The Institute for Electronic Arts, Alfred University College of Ceramics.

The SUNY Global Center Gallery displays student art on a rotating basis throughout the year. The center plans to add an additional gallery for photographic exhibitions in late 2013.
