International Student Financial Statement

International students requiring an I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status) to apply for a student visa or to transfer F-1 status to FIT must document their ability to meet all educational and living expenses while studying in the U.S. The International Student Financial Statement (ISFS) is the only form accepted by FIT for this purpose. The I-20 form will be issued within ten days of receipt of the ISFS and the tuition deposit. Students should submit both as early as possible. Federal regulations require that all international students report to the Office of International Student Advisors within 30 days of the start of the semester. To comply with this requirement, students must attend a mandatory international student orientation to be held during the week of orientation.
