• Old, secondhand, hardcover book
• Small throwaway items, such as toys, buttons or plastic pieces (for the found-art project)

• 2-3 plastic grocery bags
• small foam brush (can be purchased at any art store or Home Depot)
• Tacky Glue
• Clear tape

JSX 038: Multiple Media Workshop
• A color photocopy of a painting that the student likes
• Bristol paper pad - 14"x17" or larger,  or heavy weight card stock - 4 pieces
• Variety of B pencils - HB, 4B, 8B
• 1 Litho crayon - black, soft - 1,2, or 3 hardness
• Compressed charcoal or vine charcoal
• Tubes of acrylic paint - black, white, plus colors of student's choice
• Elmer's glue
