Houff Named Player of the Year Buckely, Carey and Tyler named to all Region 15 Teams

For the second consecutive year, Megan Houff, middle blocker, was named Region XV Player of the Year. She was joined on the first team by her teammate setter Anna Buckley. Outside hitter Rachel Carey and Libero Alison Tyler were named to the Region XV Honorable Mention Team.
Megan Houff, a sophomore middle blocker from Longmeadow, MA ,was in the top 5 in the nation in all hitting categories. She led the nation in hitting percentage all season ending with .542. She also ended the season with 501 total kills averaging 4.18 kills/set. Megan recorded 107 total blocks, 62 ace serves and 126 digs.
Anna Buckley, a freshman setter from Huntsville, AL dished out 1016 total set assists on the season prior to semifinals. She also led the team in serve percentage and recorded 66 ace serves. Anna also had 28 total blocks and 158 digs.
Rachel Carey, a sophomore outside hitter from Houston, TX led the nation most of the season in ace serves. She tallied 90 aces on the season. Carey also ended with 213 kills, 245 digs and 15 total blocks.
Alison Tyler, a freshman libero from Fort Collins, CO, led the team defensively with 485 digs.
