UCE Welfare Fund

Information for: Full-Time Employees; Part-Time Employees with CCE

The UCE Welfare Fund requires an employee contribution of $20 deducted from each paycheck and includes the benefits listed below.

To enroll or waive coverage you must contact the UCE Welfare Fund office within your initial 30 days of full-time hire date. THE EFFECTIVE DATE FOR ALL COVERAGE IS THE 31ST CALENDAR DAY OF FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT..

  • dental
  • optical benefit
  • hearing aid benefit
  • health advocate
  • legal services
  • short term accident and sickness disability

The UCE Welfare Fund benefits cover your spouse or domestic partner.  Children may be covered through age of 25 (up to the end of the month they turn age 26) provided they do not have access to their own employer-sponsored insurance coverage

Please contact the UCE Welfare Fund if you have any questions on the eligibility requirements for children. If you wish to enroll your domestic partner, the UCE staff has information on required verification documents and the tax consequences of such enrollment.
