Julie Conlon

Packaging Development, Unilever

Ms. Conlon joined Unilever in 2012, responsible for packaging R&D on Dove global cleansing and the bars category. In this role, she works cross functionally to manage the development of new product launches and line extensions, ensuring the team is able to deliver corporate objectives with regards to cost, timing and quality. 

Prior to working at Unilever, Ms. Conlon started her career with Cadbury PLC where she managed the packaging for Trident, Stride, HALLS, Dentyne and Bubblicious, including the most recently launched gum brand, ID. She worked globally for Cadbury, in China, where she led technology transfers, fostered global ways of working and developed China’s HALLS packaging innovation strategy plans by leveraging consumer insights and technology to drive long term category growth. 

Ms. Conlon holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with high honors, from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she was a member of the Deans List. In addition to her studies, Ms. Conlon was an

?NCAA student athlete as a member of the women’s ice hockey team, where she was awarded the American Women’s College Hockey Association All-Academic Team three consecutive years. She is a member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals.
