Portfolio Requirements

As part of the requirements for admission to Art and Design majors, applicants must submit a portfolio for evaluation by the FIT faculty. You are invited to submit your portfolio once your SUNY application has been received and processed by FIT. Please do not submit any slides or artwork until you receive a confirmation that your application has been received by FIT.

* Business and Technology applicants are not required to submit a portfolio and materials received for these majors will not be reviewed or considered.

Portfolio Options:  

•  ONLINE (preferred): The Online Portfolio Review option is the preferred method and the most efficient way to have your portfolio reviewed. This option is available for AAS applicants only.

•  MAIL

•  IN PERSON: Limited in-person portfolio review dates are provided on a space available basis.
