This popular program reimburses students for providing peer assistance at campus events and serving as campus role models. Students are required to assist during Residential Life Move-In, Orientation Week, Registration, and other events throughout the first month of classes. Other optional paid assignments are available throughout the semester. Ambassadors also need to attend two meetings per year and make a one-year commitment to the program. Ambassadors are paid $7.25/hour (subject to change).
Minimum qualifications include maintenance of a 3.0 GPA and a desire to become actively involved in the campus community. Applications are accepted by the Department of Student Life, usually in February for the following academic year.
