Looking for summer housing in NYC? During the summer, the Fashion Institute of Technology opens its residence halls to current FIT students, non-FIT students, non-FIT interns, groups and organizations seeking a safe, convenient, and inexpensive place to stay while in New York City.

FIT residence halls are located in mid-town Manhattan and are surrounded by some of the most exciting neighborhoods of the city, including Chelsea, Garment district, Theater district, etc. 

All of our residence halls are conveniently located near public transportation, offering easy access to all that New York City has to offer.  Within walking distance of FIT, you will find various modes of transportation such as NJ Transit, LIRR, MetroNorth, Amtrack, Budget friendly express bus lines (MegaBus, Bolt), Port Authority and over 10 major subway lines (A,C,D,E,F,M,N,Q,R,S,V, 1,2,3,7).

Group conference housing is available for groups and organizations with 10 or more program participants seeking housing for a minimum of one night to a maximum of eight weeks. Some restrictions apply.
