Academic Standards

The academic performance of each matriculating student at FIT is reviewed at the end of the fall and spring semesters to ensure that students areprogressing through their major program of study. Students making unsatisfactory progress are identified and their academic standing is designated based on academic standing regulations published in theFIT Undergraduate Catalogue.

The collegestrongly recommends that all students on academic probationparticipate in the a"Choices for Success" workshops, or see a counselor individually. The workshops and individual sessions help studentsto identify and resolve problems contributing topoor academic performance.
