The museum is part of the Fashion Institute of Technology, a campus of the State University of New York. As a public institution the museum relies heavily on the generosity of its friends and supporters to provide programs and exhibitions year-round, to local, national, and international visitors. There are many ways for you to contribute, and many benefits in store when you choose to do so. We welcome your involvement in the areas listed below.

Support the exhibitions and programs of The Museum at FIT:

Couture Council: Become a member of this philanthropic group and receive invitations to exclusive events and behind-the-scenes tours.

Individual Gifts: Make a donation towards new acquisitions, conservation projects, or our strategic planning fund.

Corporate Opportunities: The Museum at FIT offers general levels of sponsorship to our corporate supporters, including exhibition sponsorship, naming opportunities, and product donation for events.

Internship Opportunities: The Museum at FIT offers internships to Graduate Students only.
