Domestic Abuse, Stalking, and Sexual Violence

FIT takes the safety of our community very seriously. This site provides information to help you avoid situations that might put your personal safety at risk and to aid others who may be at risk. It also explains what to do if you or someone you know is in danger or has been the victim of violence or abuse.

The State University of New York (SUNY) has created the Sexual Violence Victim/Survivor Bill of Rights to offer support and assistance to those who have experienced sexual violence. It outlines the rights of victims/survivors and options that can be pursued, whether the crime or violation is committed on or off campus.

If you or someone you know needs help, review our list of campus and off-campus resources.
