RA Selection Timeline
APPLICATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
All applications are due on 12/5, 12/6, or 12/7 between 1:00pm and 5:00pm outside the Alumni Hall Residential Life Office. In addition, you will need to present your FIT ID and sign-up for an RA Interview. Please note that no applications will be considered after 5:00pm on Friday, December 7th, 2012.
Give the recommendation letter, provided in the packet, to your floor RA. If you are not a resident, give the recommendation letter to a professor or a current/former employer, who is acquainted with your work and/or leadership qualities. Please inform the person recommending you to place the form in a sealed envelope with their signature across the seal and return it to the Office of Residential Life, c/o Alex Alorro, 210 West 27th Street, New York, NY 10001.
Please give your reference enough time to submit the recommendation before the deadline!

PHASE II: INTERVIEWS
Interview sessions will be approximately 2 1/2 hours long. First, you will participate in an exercise that will challenge how you work and interact with others. After a short break, you will have individual interviews with various Residential Life staff members. Remember to relax, and be yourself.
Failure to appear for your interview will eliminate you immediately from the process!
When you sign-up for an Interview slot you will have a choice to sign up for one of the following Interview Sessions. You only need to attend one session. The interviews will be held on:
Please note that interview slots fill up quickly; therefore, it is recommended you come early on 12/5, 12/6, or 12/7 to obtain the best possible slot. We cannot guarantee your first choice will be available, so please come with a backup date in mind. Make sure you are available for the entire time.
NOTIFICATION STATUS
You will be notified of your status no later than Friday, March 1st, 2012 in either your Residence Hall mailbox or the address provided on the application.
