Teaching Institute
The Teaching Institute is FIT's internal funding entity for faculty
development. The program is designed to help faculty pursue their professional
goals as teachers artists, designers, practitioners and scholars. By awarding
funding for proposals, the program seeks to foster excellence and innovation in
the teaching/learning process. The program is administered through the Office of
Academic Affairs and applications are reviewed by the Teaching Institute

Please note: The Teaching
Institute booklet states that “no project will be funded
retroactively”. In other words, only projects/travel that take place
after the committee has had the chance to meet/vote will be considered for funding.
