In September 2008, The Leonard Florence and Sy Stewart Global Scholars
Endowment, named in honor of two home products industry leaders, was
celebrated with a plaque dedication ceremony and reception. The
scholarship provides grants to outstanding Home Products Development
students for travel abroad. This endowment was made possible by a gift
from Michael Fux, president and CEO of Sleep Innovations, and a
matching challenge grant from the Peter J. Sharp Foundation.
