FIT Students Win Scholarships

Educational Opportunity Programs Students Receive Scholarships

Seventeen EOP students were awarded the Peter F. Vallone Academic Scholarship, which offers up to $1,250 per year. This year's recipients were Alesandra Baez, Medina Catwell, Tieara Fitch, Lizette Garcia, Stephanie Garcia, Julia Jiang, Sau Soke Juan, Nicole Montemarano, Makeia Peterkin, Nathalie Quirin, Keysha Ramos, Daisy Ruiz, Janine Sleem, Sinead Soria, Jennifer Torres, Nicolas Turek, and Lily Yang. In addition, Stephanie Roy received a full scholarship to attend the Women's Institute at Omega's conference, Women and Courage: Connecting Across the Generations. This marks the fourth year that Omega has provided scholarships for EOP student participation.†

Direct and Interactive Marketing Students Receive Scholarships

Class of 2010 students Michael Howland, Nola Lawless, and Jason Noda have won scholarships from the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation, based on academic performance, essays, and faculty recommendations. For more information, contact Roberta Elins, 74478.
