Evening/Weekend Two-Year AAS Degree
Online registration begins at 9 am Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, January 13 and ends at 5 pm Eastern Standard Time on Friday, January 15. Classes can fill up quickly, so try to register as early as possible.Follow these step by step instructions for a successful registration:
Step 1: Register for all Major and Related Area Courses
For your first semester, you must register for a specific set of major and related area courses listed below. Each course section (meeting time) has a unique Course Registration Number (CRN) which is the four- or five-digit numbers listed in the first column of the Schedule of Classes (pdf version). You should match the CRNs listed below to the times in the Schedule of Classes (pdf version) to see when the classes are offered for your major.
Print out the printer-friendly instructions below for your reference when you register. You must select from the Course Registration Numbers (CRN) below or you will get a major restriction error message when you try to register. See the Registration Instructions below for full details.

Step 2: Register for Liberal Arts Courses Transfer Credits
In order to complete your AAS in two years, you should schedule two liberal arts courses per semester, for a total of eight courses over four semesters. Select two liberal arts courses from the Schedule of Classes that will fulfill the liberal arts requirements for your chosen program and will not conflict with the schedule of your major and related area courses. Be sure to select a few alternatives, in case your first choices are not available.

To ensure that your transfer credits are applied to your FIT record, make sure that all final, official transcripts have been sent to Admissions, Room C139. To check your transfer credits, please see your degree audit (DARS). A degree audit is a computer-based assessment that shows the progress you are making toward meeting your degree requirements. Any course granted as transfer credit will be printed with a “T” grade on your degree audit in the appropriate place for the requirement. Proof of immunization is required for registration. Failure to submit documentation can lead to a Health Services hold that prevents you from registering. Submit documentation to the Health Services Office.
