This program gives design entrepreneurs the knowledge, tools, and access to resources they need to build a viable business based on sustainable design practices.

Not all courses are offered every semester.

A total of 10 courses (8 required and 2 personal choice) is needed to complete this certificate.

Students interested in a Professional Development Certificate of completion must file an affidavit form after completing the first course in the certificate. This will also enable you to obtain your official FIT ID. You may obtain this form from the instructor of your first course or by contacting Andrea Adkins-Miller from Certificate Programs at You may also pick it up from the Center for Professional Studies, located in the Pomerantz Center, room D130.
