FIT Student Association Awards

Max Meyer Memorial Award
The Student Council elects one graduating student. This commencement award is presented to a student who has exhibited the highest qualities of leadership and service. A plaque is displayed on the seventh floor of the Student Center in the Department of Student Life with past winners.


Michael A. Noeth Memorial Award
An advisor must nominate a graduating student. Candidates must excel in the areas of leadership, creative programming and service and have served the FIT community with selfless commitment. Self nominating form

Peter Vogel “Gold” Leadership Keys
The Student Council elects ten graduating students who have exhibited leadership qualities in extracurricular activities.  These awards are presented at the annual Inauguration and Recognition Dinner.

Sylvia Galvarin Student Leadership Award
An advisor must nominate the student. One award is presented to a graduating student with outstanding service to the college who served on a Student - Faculty Committee/Organization.

Peter Vogel “Silver” Leadership Keys
The Student Council elects five non-graduating students who have exhibited leadership qualities in extracurricular activities. These awards are presented at the annual Inauguration and Recognition Dinner.

Student Organization Publicity Award
The Department of Student Life recognizes the student organization with the best publicity campaign of the year.  The award is announced at the annual Recognition Awards Ceremony. A plaque is displayed on the seventh floor of the Student Center with past winners.

FIT Student Association Marion K. Brandriss Baccalaureate Degree Extracurricular Service Award
An advisor must nominate the student. One $1,500.00 award toward tuition is presented to a seventh semester student who has given outstanding service in the area of extracurricular activities to the college. Self nominating form

FIT Student Association Amy Locicero Associate Degree Extracurricular Service Award
An advisor must nominate the student. One $1,500.00 award toward tuition is presented to a third semester student who has given outstanding service in the area of extracurricular activities to the college. Self nominating form
