Overdue Fines

The following chart lists the most common types of charges, their rates and their maximums.  When a book or picture file envelope becomes 30 days overdue, it is categorized as "lost" and your account will be assessed a replacement cost and processing fee.

Accounts with a 30 day late item will be placed on Banner Hold (blocked registration, withheld transcripts, grades, refund checks and diplomas) until the account is paid in full.  The debt ceiling is set at $20 and your account will be frozen until all fines are paid.

If the item is subsequently returned you will be responsible only for any overdue fine.

All Library fines and fees are now paid at the Circulation/Access Services Desk using your Campus Card.  You can add money to your card using the PHiL machine located across from the Circulation/Access Services Desk.

NOTE:  Students are financially responsible for equipment damaged or not returned.
