Ms. Levis is currently Outsourcing Manager in the Clinical Research/Medical Affairs unit of Celgene Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company that she joined in 2007. In this role, she is responsible for project management from a business perspective of international clinical trials in the therapeutic areas of oncology, hematology, inflammation, and dermatology. This includes establishing partnerships and strategic relationships with external research providers to support and enhance Celgene’s research and development goals and clinical trial management, negotiating business and contractual terms with these external service providers, maintaining timelines and deliverables, and controlling spending to budgets.
Prior to Celgene, Ms. Levis did similar work for the U.S. subsidiary of Eisai Medical Research, a Japanese pharmaceutical company. On top of this demanding full-time career, since 2007 Ms. Levi has addressed her true passion for the beauty industry working evenings and weekends in a day spa, focused on marketing, merchandising, and service management.
Ms. Levis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island, and also studied in Melbourne, Australia.
