Ms. Thompson is currently Senior Planner on the Central Planning team, which directs financial planning and analysis for Victoria's Secret Beauty. In this role, she serves as the liaison between Finance and Merchandise Planning, responsible for corporate sales and inventory reporting, including traffic and transaction analysis impacting future sales budgets and inventory targets.
Prior to this position, Ms. Thompson was in Merchandise Planning at Gap Inc., responsible for pre-season buying and in-season management of the Toddler division at babyGap. Earlier she was Associate Director for Strategy and Operations at Washington, DC-based research firm Corporate Executive Board. There she spearheaded segmentation analysis of 3,100 client accounts to aid account management resource allocation.
Ms. Thompson graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication and a minor in Spanish. She spent a semester abroad in Seville, Spain studying at la Universidad de Sevilla. Ms. Thompson is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key National Honor Societies. She is also a member of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW).
