Pei Wong

Ms. Wong is currently the Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Chanel. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring that all products are in compliance with US and global regulations. This includes reviewing and approving ingredients and formulas of all products marketed in the US and involvement with the export and import registrations for global markets.

Prior to this position, Ms. Wong was a Fragrance Safety Coordinator with Mane Fragrances, maintaining and reviewing fragrances for federal, state, and international regulations and supporting claims substantiation. Ms. Wong began her career in Evaluations with Manheimer Fragrances, involved with project coordination and fragrance development.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from New York University, where she received the Founder’s Day Award for academic excellence and attained the Dean’s List. While at NYU, she held research internships at Chanel, St. Vincent’s Hospital, and Mount Sinai Research Institute. She also holds a Master’s degree summa cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Cosmetic Science. Ms. Wong speaks China’s Wenzhou dialect fluently and is proficient in Mandarin. She is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC).
