Transfer orientation is required and your one-day program will prepare you for both academic and student life at FIT and in New York City. All transfer students will receive a communication from the Registrar's Office inviting them to orientation.
The following is a snapshot of your schedule of this year’s transfer orientation in June. We look forward to seeing everyone and once again for families please remember to attend the special welcome session led by the Dean of Students at FIT.
Note that housing move-in for new students occurs the weekend prior to fall orientation. For more information, please visit the Residential Life move-in web page at www.fitnyc.edu/move-in.
ALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENTSInternational students are not required to attend transfer orientation. You will be contacted separately to assist you in registering on-time. Please note that any student that are in the area and would like to attend a transfer orientation are welcome but once again are not expected or required to.
