The NEW Spring 2014 Recreation Schedule is now posted and classes begin Monday, January 27th.  We now have morning recreation classes two times a week and a NEW Circuit Training class on Friday evenings. Check it out and join us!  

Also now posted are the Spring 2014 Fitness Center Schedules for both the Stanton and Kaufman Fitness Centers! 

FIT Track and Field TCNJ Invitational – College of New Jersey

(Ewing, NJ) This weekend the Lady Tigers traveled to the College of New Jersey for the TCNJ Invitational. This was without a doubt one of the biggest meets the FIT Team has faced thus far. They sized up well with the competition by putting their blood, sweat, and tears on the line. It was an absolutely beautiful day for a track meet with very little wind and sunny blue skies. FIT Track and Field 2014 Osprey Open

(Stockton, NJ) It was a windy day at the Stockton College Track on Saturday, but that did not stop the Lady Tigers from competing with a rawr! It was an extremely exciting weekend as Hannah Duncan qualified for nationals in the 1500 meter run, and Meredith Gill set the FIT School Record in the discus! FIT Track and Field Fairleigh Dickinson University Knight Classic

(Hackensack, NJ) The FIT Lady Tigers fought through the wind and rain in Hackensack, New Jersey to beat out the heated competition. With much less than ideal conditions the Tigers still continued to show what they are made of and make improvements in the right direction. FIT Volleyball Places 7th at Nationals

(Rochester, MN)  The FIT Volleyball earned a trip to the NJCAA Division III tournament  held in Rochester, MN.  There they would compete among the best of the best in the nation.  The Tigers went into the tournament with a 36-4 record. Read More

FIT Cross Country NJCAA Half Marathon National Championships

 (Dallas, GA) Three brave souls traveled to Dallas, Georgia over the weekend to compete in the NJCAA Half Marathon National Championships. The gun went off at 8 am on Saturday morning, and the Tigers were ready to be fierce. The National Championship course was along the Silver Comet Trail, which consisted of a paved path through the woods. The temperature on Saturday morning was around 50 degrees, slightly overcast, and had a slight mist in the air. Needless to say it was a perfect racing weather. Read More

FIT Cross Country 2013 NJCAA National Cross Country Championships

(Holyoke, MA) The FIT Lady Tigers battled until the very end on Saturday at the NJCAA National Cross Country Championships. It was a cold and overcast day in Massachusetts, but the Tigers used this to their advantage. There were a total of 24 women’s teams competing for the title of National Champions. The Tigers made it their goal to finish in the top 5 teams. Although this was one of the toughest courses the Tigers had faced yet this season, it did not stop them from getting what they wanted. Everyone gave their best efforts for the last race of the season, and it paid off. The Lady Tigers finished as the 5th team overall! Read More

Tigers Hold Court at National Tennis Center

(Flushing, NY) Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova, and Billie Jean King made their reputations there, but they weren’t studying fashion design, fashion merchandising or jewelry design at the same time.  FIT women, competing at the national Division 3 championship, have scored second in the nation. The tournament, held at the National Tennis Center on October 22, also awarded its first sportsmanship trophy to an FIT student.
