Library Exhibits & Displays

Exhibits and Displays at the Gladys Marcus Library showcase the library’s visual, intellectual, and artistic resources for the benefit of the FIT community. We invite students, faculty, and staff to partner with us to create thoughtful, creative, and intellectually stimulating exhibitions consistent with the College’s educational philosophy and ideals.Exhibits and displays are located on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors of the Library.

Exhibits & Displays during Spring 2015 semester include:

  • "We Can't Breathe"
  • "Oscar de la Renta"
    Located just outside the Library entrance from the Pomerantz (D) building.
  • "Fashionable Art: The Frances Neady Collection of Original Fashion Illustrations,"
     October 21, 2014 through March 15, 2015 (EXTENDED!).
    The show highlights thirty premiere pieces of the Frances Neady collection of which there are nearly 400 pieces. The thirty pieces were selected to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the collection's founding in 1984.
