Spring 2025 New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation will take place in two required sections: Part One: Pre-Orientation - is the required  virtual module to be completed at your own pace; Part Two: Orientation Week at FIT - is the required  in-person orientation guided by Orientation Leaders and will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

Below is a snapshot of what to expect:

Pre-Orientation | Online Module (Launches Thursday, January 2, 2025)
These virtual modules are designed to provide you with essential information and resources before you arrive on campus and can be completed at your convenience. You can anticipate covering resources such as Information Technology, Financial Aid Services, Dining Services, and more! Please be sure to finish all the Pre-Orientation modules before your first day of in-person orientation. Instructions on how to access modules will be provided to your FIT email address.

Orientation Week at FIT | In-Person
Orientation Week at FIT is designed to introduce you to the people and experiences who will make your time at FIT a success both personally and professionally. Each new student will be assigned an Orientation Group and two current FIT students serving as Orientation Leaders. Orientation Leaders will lead your assigned group from session to session and serve as a peer resource.

Over the course of New Student Orientation new students will meet fellow incoming students, members of the College administration, be provided an in-depth look at academics and academic success, and much more!
