The best way to visit the college is by attending one of our Admissions Information Sessions. These sessions are not tours; they are designed to give you all the information you need to apply to FIT. You will have an opportunity to ask questions of an Admissions Counselor throughout the session.
Information Sessions
Information sessions are held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon throughout the year, except major holidays. You do not need to reserve a seat in one of these sessions (unless you are attending with a group of more than 5 people). The information sessions are quite well attended, however, so we urge you to arrive no later than 11:45 AM. Please enter the Marvin Feldman Building (the building with the arch in the middle of the campus). The sessions are held in the Admissions Information Center located in room C-205. Information sessions often last as long as two to three hours, but you may leave whenever you feel all your questions have been answered. When the session is complete you are welcome to explore the campus bookstore, stop by our cafeteria or visit the Museum at FIT..
Open House
We have an Open House every October. This event gives you the opportunity to meet faculty from the major departments and to talk with representatives from every area at the college. There is no charge for this event, but registration is required.
If you missed Open House 2008, see a combination of videos, presentations, and lived taped sessions of speakers from the Oct. 25 event at our Virtual Open House.
