Teaching in Brightspace
This webpage created by the FIT Office of Online Learning, a complete resource for all things Brightspace. It contains a combination of the most recent tutorial videos and related resources to guide you through building and sustaining your courses built in Brightspace.
FIT Digital Syllabus
The FIT Concourse Digital Syllabus is a campus-wide, syllabus template that includes course information, FIT resources, policies and location. The syllabus must be created in Brightspace. There, you can build and/or edit your course syllabus with the Concourse Syllabus template.
AI in Higher Education
Artificial intelligence is having an impact in all areas of teaching and learning. As we begin to explore the possibilities, we also want to be cautious not to embrace or reject its role in education until we better understand the implications.
Perkins AI Project 2025
This project launching in Spring 2025 builds off of our Perkins Project 2024 by moving into specific disciplines including:
- Image and Design Generation
- Marketing
- Retail
- Research and Development
To explore how AI technology is shaping these four areas, the CET will be providing training sessions led by industry experts showcasing the AI in the workplace and provide faculty information about which AI skills will be most valuable to our students as they enter the workforce.
