Phase 2: Development

Expectations
Identify and forecast trends into the future, develop scenarios, and ideate within the scenarios. Ideation will generate 10 - 15 future opportunities areas that will be tested later in the phase.

- Internal assessment: Assets, capabilities, financial capacity; Independent field research
- Foresight: Trends Workshop; Scenarios Workshop; Innovation strategy

Phase 3: Plan Development
February 11–March 29
Expectations
Leverage communities to test/pilot the 10 - 15 future opportunities. Through iterative innovation workshops, research, testing, potentially narrow the list of 10 - 15 future opportunities.

Phase 4: Assessment and Final Report

Build ways to measure the plan's success and communicate the plan to the FIT community.
