Stolen/Damaged Materials

The following information is from FIT's Student Rights & Responsibilities Manual:

Theft or mutilation of library books and other materials could lead to expulsion from the college. The library penalty for mutilation of library materials is two-fold:

1. A monetary fine to cover replacement plus a fee for processing,
2. Suspension of borrowing privileges for a period up to one full semester.
