Style Shop Reopens
The Style Shop recently celebrated its Grand Opening for the Spring 2025 season which was filled with joy and excitement as we revealed new, trending merchandise including Vintage, Non-Apparel, Designer, Industry Apparel, and Product Development. A refreshed layout of the shop and winners of our Merchandising Society Style Shop Club Scholarship were also revealed. Professor Geib, the advisor for the Style Shop, along with Co-Managers, Christiana Maticke and Kyrah Kelly, have continued to lead several teams to grow the Style Shop, becoming well versed as to all of the functions required of managing a fashion business.
Themes of floral and pastel colors could be found around the shop as well as a pops of red to celebrate Valentine’s day in February.The Spring 2025 Grand Opening was a memorable event attended by alumni, students, faculty, and FIT's President, Dr. Joyce Brown. As part of the promotion, guests received exclusive Style Shop tote bags with any purchase. The celebration also featured music, cake, snacks, and drinks, which were enjoyed by all.
