The MFA Fashion Design program consists of 60 credits over two years. See: MFA Fashion Design Curriculum
The program is full time; there is no option to study part-time.
Classes for first-year students typically take place during the day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Classes for second-year students typically take place during the day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
MFA Fashion Design is a rigorous full-time program. Classes take place during the weekdays and during daytime hours, making it impossible for students to work a traditional 9 am-5 pm work week.
The program does not offer an online option. All classes take place on campus.
Yes, a portfolio is required. See: Graduate Portfolio Requirements
The MFA Fashion Design program only accepts students for the fall semester. There is no option to start the program in the spring semester. See: Graduate Application Requirements
It is not possible to accelerate the program. Courses must be taken within the recommended sequence of the program curriculum.
