SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) Benefits
As a student here at FIT, you may also be eligible for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) Benefits. SNAP is a government program that issues electronic benefits that can be used like
cash to purchase food. SNAP helps low-income working people, senior citizens, the
disabled, and others feed their families.
The following programs offered at FIT are considered as "qualified career and technical education programs" for the purposes of SNAP eligibility:

Complete the Student Verification of Enrollment form (.pdf) and submit it with your SNAP application. This verifies that you are enrolled in one of the eligible programs. If you have questions, the Registrar's Office can help identify currently eligible students and help you access and complete these forms.
