CER produces a variety of print materials to support recruitment and development, promote programs and events, and provide general institutional information. We collaborate with appropriate academic or administrative areas to create publications for a range of audiences.
Our services include art direction, writing and editing, creating or finding appropriate photographs or illustrations, selecting and managing designers, soliciting print vendors, and providing suggestions for distribution and mailing.
We can help with anything from posters and flyers to large brochures to packets containing multiple pieces. Time frames for publications vary from three weeks to three months, depending on the complexity of the job.
All new publications must be approved in advance by the appropriate dean or vice president. If you plan to work with CER to create a publication, please obtain that approval before submitting an inquiry form.
Self-Produced Publications
FIT departments may create a variety of publications on their own, including flyers and brochures meant for internal college use and postcards for student exhibitions.
- Your publication must maintain FIT’s graphic identity, including the appropriate use of logos, typefaces, and color palette. The FIT Toolkit provides these materials and guidelines for their use.
- Two weeks before printing, submit a PDF of your proof to CER via the inquiry form. We will proofread the text and review the design to ensure that FIT’s brand requirements are met.
