Curriculum

The curriculum for Fashion Design MFA has been developed by a faculty of practicing professionals. It is continually evolving in response to changes in the field, reflecting the latest trends, skills, and technology you need to succeed in the global economy.

Beginning with Fall 2025 and all semesters thereafter, there will be enhancements made to the Fashion Design MFA curriculum that will affect courses. The MFA will remain at 60 credits. The program enhancements will condense and support thesis collection development and fashion presentation coursework; new courses will replace existing courses; and there will be resequencing of other courses. These changes have been developed by the department faculty - all industry experts in their respective specialties. The changes are supported by the College as timely enhancements to the MFA degree program.
