Differences Between FD and FBM Majors
FBM (Fashion Business Management) and FD (Fashion Design) and are both fashion majors. One is offered through the Jay and Patty Baker School of Business and Technology and the other through the School of Art and Design.

It's the job of the fashion business manager to give customers what they want at a
price they're willing to pay based leading trends, mixing and matching colors, sizes,
and silhouettes. In this program, you will master the skills needed in global retail
operations and management, and learn how to combine your sense of style with business
acumen.

In this fashion design program you will to become not only a designer with your own
creative vision, but a professional prepared to take your place in this challenging
industry. Learn how to take a design from concept to finished garment, learn the fundamentals
of professional draping, patternmaking, and sewing techniques, as well as hand rendering
and computer-aided designing.
