Biography

Nancy MacDonell Robertson is a fashion journalist, fashion historian, and author. She writes a column called “Fashion with a Past” for Wall Street Journal. Her next book, The Women who Made Fashion Modern, will be published in 2024 by St. Martins.

Robertson's research interests include twentieth century fashion, fashion journalism, and American fashion. She has been a member of the department since 2018.
