Information for Current Students and Faculty
Student Information
The Dean's List, posted at the end of each semester, honors those students who have completed more than 12 credits (may not include courses taken on a pass/fail basis) and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or better. Students receiving an incomplete or an "F" grade are ineligible for the Dean's List that semester.

Minors are a major deal at FIT. By completing five courses in a particular discipline, you can take a minor that enhances your major studies or enables you to explore a field that interests you. Do it because companies prefer employees with a wide range of knowledge. Or because you want to be a more interesting person and a well-informed citizen of the world.
Faculty Information
Faculty members in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences prepare students to become reflective, critical, and engaged citizens of the world. Our faculty are committed as well to their own development as teachers and scholars. They recognize that teaching excellence embraces innovative and technologically advanced forms of instruction in a variety of settings. Our faculty members foster an understanding of diverse cultures and international perspectives as well as an appreciation for the richness and changing composition of American culture. They also investigate new ways to heighten student awareness of the moral and intellectual dimensions of human existence.
