Access to FIT Buildings
Masks Are Optional
Face masks are no longer required in FIT buildings.
FIT IDs and Semester Stickers
All entrances to FIT properties—including 236 West 27th Street, and Floors 13–16 at 333 Seventh Avenue—are open and staffed with Public Safety officers. To gain access, employees and returning students must show an FIT ID with an appropriate semester sticker.
Cleaning and Ventilation
FIT continues to meet and exceed all ventilation standards and is thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the State of New York, and SUNY.

The Museum at FIT (MFIT)
The museum is open: Wednesday–Friday, noon–8 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 10 am–5 pm.
At the museum, face masks are encouraged but optional.

Campus Dining
The FIT Dining Hall and Faculty and Staff Dining Room are both open.
