Workers' Compensation Program
FIT employees are covered under the New York State Workers' Compensation law. This program provides payment for all necessary and reasonable medical care expenses related to your on-the-job injury or occupational disease. This program also provides reimbursement for lost wages at rates set by the New York State Department of Labor.

When an Injury or Illness Occurs
Immediately report any accident or injury to FIT Security at (212) 2177-7777 and seek first aid or other necessary medical attention. Security will notify Human Resources immediately and the employee can expect to hear from a member of the HR Team shortly thereafter. If you are injured at work, you must also Report a Work Related Injury or Illness. For more information, click here.
PMA Care 24
At the point of injury, you may call the dedicated toll free PMA Care 24 at 1-833-376-1901. This provides immediate nurse triage for the injured employee 24 hours per day/7 days per week/365 days per year. This is a free service for all employees. It is not mandatory, but highly suggested.
